Meet your walker

Hi, I’m Brian.

I’m the person who will actually show up at your door — not a rotating list of walkers, and not an app that sends whoever is free that day.

I started Paws Out because Fort Lauderdale dogs deserve someone familiar. When you book with me, your dog learns my voice, my pace, and the way I hold a leash. You get someone who remembers which route they like, whether scooters make them nervous, and how they like to wind down when we get home.

A walk with me is more than a bathroom break. We go at your dog’s pace: time to sniff, time to move, and enough energy spent that they actually settle afterwards. I’ll follow the routines you already have — the harness they tolerate, the side of the street they prefer, the neighbor they should skip — and I’ll tell you right away if something feels off.

We always start with a free meet and greet at your place. It’s a chance for your dog to sniff me out, and for you to see how I am with them before you hand over a key or a schedule. No pressure and no sales pitch. If it feels right, we set up walks. After every visit, I’ll send a photo so you’re not guessing how the afternoon went.

  • The same walker every time Your dog builds trust with one person, not a new face each week.
  • Your routines, not mine I learn how your dog actually likes to walk, and I stick to it.
  • A photo after every visit You’ll see how it went, every time, without having to ask.

Why pet parents book

Peace of mind you can see.

A few simple things you can count on when you book a walk with me.

  • Photo updates A snapshot and a short note after every walk, so you know how it went.
  • A meet & greet first No surprise walker. You meet me, and your dog does too, before anything is booked.
  • Clear communication Running late, weather changes, or a cut-short walk: you hear about it right away.
  • One familiar walker You’ll walk with me, not a rotating list of strangers.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they book.

What happens at the meet & greet?

It is a short, no-pressure visit at your home. We meet your dog, go over routines and house rules, and decide together whether to book walks.

How do keys and home access work?

You choose what feels safe: a lockbox, smart lock code, or handing off a key at the meet & greet. We never share access details.

What if it rains or the weather turns?

Most walks still happen with a jacket and extra towel time after. If thunder, heat, or ice makes it unsafe, we will text you before the visit and reschedule or switch to a short potty break.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Cancel or move a walk with at least 12 hours’ notice and there is no charge. Same-day cancels may be billed so I can protect that time.

Do you walk more than one dog at a time?

I walk one household at a time so your dog gets my full attention. If you have more than one dog at home, we can talk that through at the meet and greet.
